Mini-consults get results on a shoestring

As someone who worked for small and medium nonprofits (and farms for that matter), I know how far you have to stretch your resources. The idea of paying a consultant to support your visioning process, your new project, staff training, or sticky operations problem seems like a luxury for the big guys. In fact, the only time we spent money for outside help was on highly specialized trainings or executive-level problems….usually worth it, but thousands of dollars!
A coworker drew this for me during an
appreciation exercise. If you feel this way
at your work, raise your hand(s).

On the other hand, I think back to how difficult it was to make informed choices and to focus on leadership-level decisions due to the avalanche of details, interruptions, and unforeseen daily problems that come with the job. How many days and weeks did I spend trying to develop projects, pull together research, support my staff, or otherwise make strategic decisions in the midst of all that lovely chaos? I wished I had someone to help me keep the big picture and the important details prioritized.

While we love big projects at Root Forward, sometimes a short, focused session is all you need to see past the clutter. Clients use our mini-session to sound out ideas, to problem solve, and to set action plans. We will be your sounding board while helping you to hone your thoughts and make strategic decisions.

If you are ready to get past the clutter and make an impact, sign up for a Root Forward mini-consult session.

  1. Hello Justin! This is my first time exploring your website and learning about your work. I came across this blog post via LinkedIn, I think...

I would love to add my testimonial to those you already have, if you think that would be helpful/useful. And, I'd love to collaborate with you if you come across a project that could benefit from my experience and, yes, wisdom!

I wish you really well, and let's keep in touch. I'm up in Seattle fairly often.
